Profile: Dr. Barbara Daniel, Ph. D.

Barbara Daniel is Lead Faculty for the Communication and Humanities faculty at Columbia Southern University, one of the first online universities in the United States.  The University has students from corporations, municipalities, police, fire, and other organizations around the world.

Dr. Daniel earned her Ph. D. in Communication and Research with distinction from Florida State University.  Her expertise lies in human relations and communication within organizations.  She has taught at Florida State University, Keiser University, and Tallahassee Community College.  She worked in state government and the private sector between 1984 and 2001.

Dr. Daniel worked with the Guyana Government, with Reynolds Bauxite Company, and with the Caribbean Community Secretariat (CAICOM) before moving to the United States where she resides.
